Meet Our Doctors
J. Michael Vidal, O.D.
Dr. Vidal grew up in La Mesa and attended local schools including Helix High School, Grossmont College, and SDSU. After Graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry (1976) he returned to San Diego and entered into practice with a medical group. He was there for nine years specializing in contact lenses including post-surgical vision complications.
Dr. Vidal then open his own private practice on Alvarado Road in La Mesa. Dr. Vidal has provided Primary Family Eye Care and Contact Lenses for over forty years. He is very experienced with difficult contact lens cases, post-surgical vision considerations, and eye and postural fatigue resulting from long hours of visual demand. Dr. Vidal is a long-standing member of the San Diego Optometric Society, California and American Optometric Associations.
Dr. Mark Yeghiazarian
Dr. Mark Yeghiazarian is a Summa Cum Laude, graduate from the Southern California College of Optometry. His didactic and clinical education encompassed a wide variety of skills, including, but not limited to: primary care optometry, soft and rigid contact lenses, and low vision examinations. He developed an interest in ocular disease and vision therapy/pediatrics, which led him to specifically choosing externship sites specializing in those areas. After spending the first 6 months of his rotation heavily focusing on ocular disease, he spent his last 6 months focusing on pediatric populations and vision therapy.
